CHEP is the leading provider of wooden pallets worldwide. As part of their pallet-leasing services, CHEP maintains and operates a network of repair centers that provide cleaning, repairing, rebuilding, recycling and removal services for their pallets.
One such service center, operated by packIQ on behalf of CHEP, used LoopManager™ to track all the activities performed by the service center. They also used LoopManager™ to keep track, in real-time, of their inventory of pallets as well as of the inbound and outbound transportation operations and electronic auditing of the repair operations.
This resulted in 100% visibility of their inventory at the service center while offering on-demand live reports of all the activities performed on the pallets and auditing operations.
